Our Installation Process

We handle everything from your first phone call through to handing you the keys. Here’s how it works: Dynaspan is your go-to for shed installation Perth.

1. Initial consultation and site measure & assessment (where required) — We visit your property, discuss what you need, measure the site, and note any access, slope, or soil issues.
2. Custom design and engineering — Your shed is designed from scratch using CAD software. Full structural engineering is completed for your specific site and wind region.
3. Council approval submission — We prepare all documentation and lodge the building permit application with your local council. We manage it through to approval.
4. Site preparation and concrete slab — We coordinate with our concreters to pour the slab to exact specifications. The slab needs 7 days to cure before erection begins.
5. Steel frame erection — Our crew erects the portal frame, typically completing the structure in 1–3 days depending on size.
6. Cladding, doors and finishing — Roof and wall cladding, roller doors, PA doors, guttering, downpipes, flashings, and all finishing touches.
7. Final inspection and handover — Walk-through of completed build (on request). Site clean-up on completion (on request). We hand over all documentation and make sure you’re 100% satisfied.

What’s Included

Our full installation service covers everything you need for a complete, ready-to-use shed:

• Concrete slab (coordinated with our trusted concreters)
• Full custom steel frame erection
• COLORBOND® or Zincalume roof and wall cladding
• Roller doors — single, double, or triple as specified
• Personnel access (PA) doors
• Guttering, downpipes, and all flashings
• All fixings and fasteners
• Site clean-up on completion

Optional extras: Mezzanine floors, insulation (roof and walls), electrical coordination, internal shelving and storage, skylights, and ventilation. Talk to us about what you need — we’ll include it in your quote.

Builder’s Licence on Every Job

Builds over $20,000 are completed under our registered builder’s licence as required by WA law — not just thrown up by a shed supplier. This matters because:

• Every build is signed off under a registered builder’s licence
• We handle all council approvals and building permits
• We carry proper public liability and construction insurance
• We provide a full building warranty on every installation
• We’re ShedSafe accredited — independently verified structural standards

When you hire a shed company that doesn’t work under a builder’s licence, there’s no proper sign-off on the work — and if something goes wrong, the accountability gets murky. With Dynaspan, every job is signed off under a builder’s licence, so we’re accountable from start to finish.

Site Preparation

What we need from you: Clear access to the build area, underground services marked (gas, water, electrical, sewer), and any trees or obstacles removed from the slab area.

What we handle: Slab coordination, earthworks for minor levelling, and working with concreters to ensure the slab meets our engineering specifications.

Perth Hills properties: We specialise in building on Hills blocks — steep sites, difficult access, bushfire zones, and rocky terrain. Timeframes

Here’s a realistic timeline for a typical shed installation:

• Council approval: 2–4 weeks depending on the shire and complexity
• Slab pour and curing: 7 days minimum cure time
• Shed erection: 1–3 days once the slab is ready
• Total from quote acceptance to completion: Timeframes vary depending on project scope and complexity. Kit-only supply typically 2–4 weeks. Full supply and install typically 6–12 weeks

Timelines vary based on council processing times, weather, and project complexity. We’ll give you a realistic schedule upfront — no false promises.
